Kirk Diversion Dam
The Kirk Diversion Dam, located on Los Gatos Creek in the town of Los Gatos, California, is one of the major structures of the Kirk Diversion Facility. It is used to impound water in Los Gatos Creek for diversion to off-stream recharge ponds.
Previously, the local water district used steel flashboards to impound the water. The inflatable rubber dam supplied by HTE Engineering allows for the fully automated impounding and release of water in the Creek.
This air-filled rubber dam is 90 feet long and stands 7 feet tall when fully inflated.
