Micro/Mini Hydro
Micro hydro and mini hydro projects are generally distinguished by their generating capacity. By definition, mini hydro units have a rated capacity of less than 1,000 kW. Micro hydro units have a rated capacity of less than 100 kW. Most turbine types can be designed to adapt to micro and mini hydro applications.
